Itinerary Overview

Day 1 – Arrival at Rakcham | Gateway to Baspa Valley

Arrive at Kinnor Retreat, Rakcham, your cozy riverside stay surrounded by pine forests and mountain peaks.
Spend your evening taking a short riverside walk and watching the sunset over the Baspa Valley.

Day 2 – Explore Sangla Valley | Culture & Calm

After breakfast, head out to explore Sangla Valley, famous for its wooden temples, orchards, and authentic Kinnauri culture.
Visit Kamru Fort and Bering Nag Temple, and stroll through the local market.
Return to Rakcham for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 3 – Rakcham to Chitkul | The Last Village of India

Enjoy a scenic drive to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border.

Day 4 – Chitkul to Kalpa via Reckong Peo | The Land of Kinner Kailash

Day 5 – Explore Kalpa & Roghi Village | Apple Orchards & Mountain Culture

Evening at leisure with dinner and overnight stay in Kalpa.

Day 6 – Kalpa to Nako | Journey to the High Himalayas

After breakfast, travel to Nako, a peaceful high-altitude village in the Hangrang Valley.

Drive towards Tabo, the first major village in Spiti Valley.

Stay overnight in Tabo.

Day 8 – Tabo to Dhankar & Kaza | Monasteries & Mountain Roads

After breakfast, head to Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff overlooking the confluence of Spiti and Pin rivers.
Continue to Kaza, the main town of Spiti, and check in to your stay. Evening at leisure.

Day 9 – Explore Spiti Villages | Langza, Hikkim & Komic
